Considered an experimental whiskey, this limited release became available in the Fall of 2019 and was sold exclusively at the Jack Daniel Distillery and at select liquor stores around the state of Tennessee. This is the 5th bottle in this new line of whiskeys with Jeff Arnett’s Master Tasters choosing each release. This series will have a few new additions per year with each being very limited.
Sold in a 375ml bottle, the whiskey found in the Barrel Reunion # 2 bottle matured in barrels which were originally used for Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey before a Middle Tennessee craft brewery finished their oatmeal stout in them at which time they were once again brought back to Jack Daniel’s to finish their Tennessee Whiskey. This offering was bottled at 92 proof.
Information about this bottle is not provided in the book as it was released after publication.
The Ultimate Guide for Jack Daniel’s collectors and enthusiasts, this book provides an overview and history of Jack Daniel’s family of whiskeys and the many commemorative bottles released by the Distillery over the last 40 years.
