Heritage Barrel & Tennessee Tasters’ Selection Series
As the calendar turns to December in a few days, that means it’s time for a bottle signing at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, TN. Happening this Saturday, December 1st, from 9am to 11am, Master Distiller Jeff Arnett and Assistant Master Distiller Chris Fletcher will both be on hand signing bottles for those lucky enough to attend. Then if you’re able to stay around until the evening, you can enjoy the festivities during the annual Barrel Tree Lightning!
Also make sure to keep your eyes open for a few recent bottle releases. In October, the Single Barrel “Heritage Barrel” bottle became available. Limited to only 200 barrels and released in select states around the country, this one has been quite difficult for many to find.
Then a few weeks ago the Tennessee Tasters’ Selection series began. The first two bottles in this series are called “High Angel’s Share Barrels” and “Smoked Hickory Finish”. Available only in Tennessee and limited to approximately 24,000 bottles each, these bottles have been flying off the shelves. Jack Daniel’s has said they will release a couple of these bottles each year with the next expected in early 2019. This series should be fun to watch!
