Bottled-in-Bond & Legacy Series

August 14, 2018 by Dan McCarley in New Bottle with 0 Comments

Although there were no new bottles released by Jack Daniel’s in the first half of 2018, the next few months promise to make up for the slow start. In fact, two new bottles are already starting to appear on store shelves.

Up first is the Bottled-in-Bond bottle which commemorates the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. This Act certified the quality of whiskey which was distilled at a single distillery in a single season, aged at least four years, and bottled at 100 proof. This 1 liter bottle is only available at select duty free stores around the world so it’s a little more difficult to find.

The other new bottle, which is the first release in the new Legacy Edition series, is filled with 86 proof whiskey and comes in either a 70cl, 750ml, or 1 liter bottle (depending on location). This series will be available worldwide and each bottle will pay tribute to the labels which adorned Jack Daniel’s bottles in the early 1900’s.

As new bottles continue to be released, I’ll be sure to let you know about them!
