For the fifth straight year, Jack Daniel’s has released a bottle in the Single Barrel Special Release series. Making it extra special this year is the fact that the whiskey found in this bottle marks the first time that Jack Daniel’s has used a 100% malted barley grain bill.
The full name of this year’s bottle is Twice Barreled Special Release American Single Malt Finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks. As the name implies, this whiskey has been twice barreled and was bottled straight from sherry casks at 105.7 – 107.8 proof.
Additional information about this bottle will be provided in Volume III of the Jack Daniel’s Bottle Collector’s Guide which has an anticipated release in 2024.
