Distillery Fire Brigade

“Every day we make it, we will protect the lives and safety of those who work and visit our facility and we will protect the property and our environment the best we can.” That is the mission statement of the Jack Daniel Distillery Fire Brigade. Made up of 34 full-time Distillery employees who have become state-certified firefighters, this brigade is an all-volunteer team that trains weekly in order to be best prepared in the event they are ever needed.

While the Distillery has had a group of firefighters on site since 1938, it wasn’t until the 1980’s when more resources were put into making it the fully functioning fire department it is today.

Additional information about the Distillery Fire Brigade will be provided in Volume II of the Jack Daniel’s Bottle Collector’s Guide which is expected to be available in the Summer of 2021.
