Bonded Rye Tennessee Whiskey

In the Fall of 2023, Jack Daniel’s announced an addition to the Bonded Series that was expected to be a permanent fixture in their product lineup. Taking the place of Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey, which debuted in the Fall of 2017, this 100 proof expression uses the same bottle (which got its look from the original bottle design used in 1895) as the first two bottles in the Bonded Series. This is available in both a 700ml and 1L size, depending on your location.

When initially describing this new series in 2022, Jack Daniel’s stated, “As stipulated by the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, a bonded whiskey must be distilled by a single distiller during a single season, matured in a government bonded warehouse for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof.”

Additional information about this bottle will be provided in Volume III of the Jack Daniel’s Bottle Collector’s Guide which has an anticipated release in 2024.
