The whiskey in Green Label bottles has a smoother taste and lighter color, but while it is not nearly as popular as the Black Label brand, there is something about this bottle that collectors around the world can’t get enough of. Most likely it is the mystery of the Green Label bottle that keeps its popularity high, and while in productions there were always rumors of it being discontinued.
Historically, Green Label whiskey followed the same general pattern as Black Label whiskey but with a slightly different production timeline. Bottles can be found in the following sizes: 100ml flask, 200ml flask, 375ml flask, 750ml square, 1L square and 1.75L square.
The last 5 states that sold Green Label bottles before it was officially discontinued were New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Tennessee.
